How do I know what size washer I need for my tap without taking it apart?
If your tap is inside it is generally a 13mm washer that you would require. If your tap is outside it could be a variety of sizes. Victoria South Australia Northern Territory and Tasmania generally use 13mm tap valves for their garden taps. In NSW Queensland and ACT there are a mixture of sizes with some taps taking 13mm valves and some taking 15mm valves.
