This FIX-A-TAP Anti-Vandal Recycled Water Tap is lilac coloured and contains a recycled water sign to comply with the Occupational Environment Standard AS 1319-1994, ideal for use with irrigation, industrial processes and toilet flushing. It features a removable key to prevent unauthorised water usage, thread seal tape to prevent leaks, and is WaterMark approved.
In Australia, recycled water taps are often coloured lilac to help distinguish them from taps which supply drinking water. This is an important safety measure to prevent accidental ingestion of recycled water, which may contain some level of contaminants or pathogens that are not safe for human consumption.
